Arrive at Copenhagen

Day 1

Enjoy beautiful Copenhagen with the popular sightseeing tour that covers all of Copenhagen’s must-see sights while allowing you to hop on and off as much as you like! You will see the city's marvelous sights and get a feel for its many charming and unique areas! Some of the most important sights are: The Little Mermaid, Amalienborg Palace, Rosenborg Palace, Nyhavn, Gammel Strand, Tivoli, and Christiansborg Palace.

Copenhagen to Odense

DAY 3

On this day you will have train trip to Odense, hometown of Hans Christian Andersen. Odense is a cultural and historical city where you can sense the city's long history clearly. Hans Christian Andersen was born in Odense, and his lively imagination continues to inspire the city. In Odense you can go walking in H.C. Andersen's footsteps through the historic district and sense the life of the city 200 years ago.

Spend this day in unique Hans Christian Andersen’s Museum. What stories do the authentic objects conceal? About immense fame and just as much loneliness? About love, wanderlust, and about clawing one’s way up? What do things say about us as people?
Explore the things and their story of how a boy born into abject poverty ended up being the world’s greatest fairy tale writer! 

Odense to Ribe

DAY 5

Have a train trip to Ribe – the oldest town in Denmark. In Ribe, the medieval past sets the stage for a modern present joined, seamlessly, into a vibrant town with a long list of exciting year-round activities to delight the young and the young-at-heart. Denmark's oldest town is steeped in history and art with shops and restaurants adding to an exceptional atmosphere!

DAY 6

Take a journey 1300 years back in time and come face to face with e.g. the blacksmith, king's minter, völva, lady of the Longhouse, slave, warrior and all the farm animals in Ribe Vikinge Center. It offers activities and drama every day. For instance, you can try your aim at archery, bake a flatbread, join in the warrior training (for children), help with the chores in the Thing-hall, learn the Viking games and much more!

DAY 7

On this day you will have train trip to Aarhus. It is a historic city that remarkably feels like one cozy neighborhood, where all the biggest sights and attractions really are within walking distance of each other. Despite this local feel, Aarhus has a few distinct and exciting districts which each give you a different kind of city break experience. It just means you will be able to explore them all in one visit!

DAY 8

Explore famous Moesgaard Museum! It is an impressive attraction not only because of the architectural design of the museum and the exhibitions, but also because of its location in the beautiful surroundings overlooking the forest and the sea. Scenography, storytelling and extensive research all come together in the exhibitions which appeal to visitors of all ages and across generations. 

Aarhus (Den Permanente beach)

Day 9

On this day explore one the most popular beach in Aarhus – Den Permanente beach. It is a beach, but it is also a “sea bath” – a protected area for sea swimming. This consists of wooden jetties and buildings which provide changing facilities, showers, and a lifeguard station. There are separate bathing areas for men and women, with plenty of privacy and a strong culture of respect for fellow bathers, so you can bathe here in comfort and safety.

Aarhus to Copenhagen

DAY 10    

    Take train trip and spend one more day in colorful Copenhagen. Take city view from Rundetaarn and visit Trinitatis Church. Stroll through Strøget, Copenhagen’s famous walking street, in the heart of the Old Town. This day is free for leisure.
