Arrive at Alesund

DAY 1  

    Upon arrival at the Alesund Airport, take the transfer to hotel and check in. Alesund's Art Nouveau architecture is known far and wide. The myriad of turrets, spires and beautiful ornamentation are like something from a fairytale. Sunnmøre's countless fjords, fishing villages, island gems and mountains lie waiting to rouse the enthusiasm. Spend marvelous relaxed evening in city, where mountains and fjords meet the ocean.

Alesund 

DAY 2     

    The sightseeing tour includes the Sunnmøre Museum, the fabulous views from Aksla Viewpoint and Fjellstua and several stops in the town centre! The town of Alesund is a port town and one of the most important fishing harbours in Norway. In 1904 a fire destroyed most of the town and it was rebuilt in an Art Nouveau style.  

Alesund to Geiranger

DAY 3     

    On this day travel like the locals used to do and join cruise connecting the coastal town of Alesund and the amazing Geirangerfjord. In 3 hours, you will take in 3 distinctive Fjords and spectacular landscapes along the way, including The Seven Sister and The Suitor waterfalls! The deep blue Geirangerfjord is surrounded by majestic, snow-covered mountain peaks, wild waterfalls and lush, green vegetation. It is a fairy-tale landscape with its majestic, snow-covered mountain tops, wild waterfalls, and the deep, blue fjord!

Geiranger

DAY 4     

    Take the sightseeing tour to explore the fantastic views of beautiful Geiranger! The small town is surrounded by dramatic landscapes, steep hills and the breathtaking Geiranger Fjord. The tour of Geiranger includes all the main sights, at Flydalsjuvet you can enjoy the views over the fjords. Westerås farm is an idyllic place that takes you back in time and at the Fjord Centre you can learn all about the amazing fjords surrounding the town.

DAY 5    

    On this day join an adrenaline-filled RIB tour – the fastest boat ride you can get! With RIBs (Rigid Inflatable Boats) you come much closer to the famous waterfalls of the Geirangerfjord than on all the other tours. Your driver and guide stop a couple of times to let the unique scenery work its magic and to provide interesting facts about the fjord and people who used to live at the fjord farms. With a bit of luck even porpoises show themselves in the water!

Geiranger to Alesund

DAY 6    

    This day is free for exploring amazing village of nature. Spend relaxing time in this peaceful place, and in the afternoon have a boat trip to Alesund. Enjoy the three-hour cruise with a cup of coffee and light refreshments while traveling from the ocean to the fjord.

Alesund – Molde – the Atlantic Road – Kristiansund

DAY 7    

    On this day you will have a trip from Alesund via Molde to what is often described as the world’s most beautiful road, the Atlantic Road, and Kristiansund! Molde offers a magnificent view towards the fjord and the mountains on the other side, and has a multitude of shops, cafés. With its location at the edge of the mighty ocean, the Atlantic Road is as beautiful in sunshine and calm weather as in full storm and rain.

Kristiansund 

DAY 8    

Kristiansund lies right at the ocean’s edge out on the coast of Nordmøre, and the city has Norway’s best and finest natural harbour right in the city center. Explore Gamlebyen (small quite Old Town), find Klippfiskkjerringa – the bronze statue of the Klipfish wife to commemorate the workers on the klippfish rocks. Visit Varden Utsiktspunkt – the highest point on Kirkelandet, and only 10-15 minutes by foot from the town centre. Varden is an old watch tower used in times of hostility and as a watch tower for ships' pilots in times of peace.

Kristiansund to Trondheim

DAY 9    

    On this day you will have 3 hours boat trip to Trondheim, home to some of Trøndelag’s most popular attractions, cozy shopping streets and a myriad of restaurants and bars offering local specialties. As Norway’s third largest city, Trondheim is full of life, with numerous scenic viewpoints, historical sites and museums to visit, many within walking distance from the lively pubs, cafes and shops of the city centre and waterfront area.
 

Trondheim 

DAY 10    

    Devote this day to exploring the city. Explore The Old Town Bridge and Bakklandet – the Old city of Trondheim with excellent shopping, a great atmosphere and delicious food. Visit The Church of Our Lady, a medieval stone church, one of the most famous landmarks in the city; Kristiansten Fortress is an important part of the City of Trondheim's identity and an area with excellent environmental qualities.
