Arrive at Reykjavik

DAY 1  
 

    Upon arrival at the Reykjavik Airport, meet the host for transfer to hotel and check in. Reykjavik has a vibrant cultural and design scene, with plenty of exciting adventure tours, vivid nightlife, modern museums, world-class restaurants, galleries, shops, bars and clubs for you to explore throughout your stay!

DAY 2
     

    Take the City Sightseeing tour and explore Reykjavík at your leisure, with the opportunity to visit Harpa Concert Hall & Conference Centre, Reykjavik Old Harbour, Reykjavík Maritime Museum, Hallgrímskirkja Church and others! 

Reykjavik to Vik 

DAY 3     

    This day starts with a trip from Reykjavik to Vik. The tour will take you to all three attractions of the popular Golden Circle Tour, with an added visit to the unique Secret Lagoon. It is a perfect Icelandic experience giving you a chance to visit waterfalls, geysers, historic sights and soak in a natural hot spring. Come explore the famous sites of Thingvellir National Park, Gullfoss waterfall and Geysir hot spring area with a great Icelandic twist and a secret stop, all in a day trip! Arrive at Vik and have relaxed evening. 
 
Vik

DAY 4    

    Vik is the southernmost village in Iceland situated 110 kilometers from Reykjavík, just South of the Katla volcano, which sits beneath the Mýrdalsjökull glacier. Discover the highlights include black sand beaches of Vik, Skogafoss and Seljalandsfoss waterfalls, and glaciers. 

 

Vik to Hekla

DAY 5  
 

Hekla, nicknamed ‘the Gateway to Hell’ in the Middle Ages, is one of Iceland’s most explosive, unpredictable and powerful volcanoes.  Hekla is a popular destination for hikers and photographers.

DAY 6    

    Surrounding the Hekla area are other interesting places and natural wonders to see, for example Thjorsardalur valley, in which are several beautiful waterfalls and fascinating rock formations. Close by is also the Viking farm Stong. 

Hekla to Snæfellsjökull 

DAY 7    

    The Snæfellsnes peninsula in the West of Iceland is almost like a miniature version of the entire island. The area has beautiful samples of some of the natural wonders Iceland is so famous for. This includes black beaches, magnificent mountains, volcanic craters, incredible birdlife, magical caves, and of course, the most picturesque glacier of them all, Snæfellsjökull.

DAY 8    

    Highlights include the Snæfellsjökull National Park, which has black sand beaches and diverse rock formations; beautiful lava caves; the most powerful hot spring in Europe and beautiful waterfalls, such as the highest waterfall in Iceland, Glymur.

DAY 9    

    Situated in a dramatic landscape of lava fields right next to the Atlantic Ocean, Grindavik boasts breathtaking natural beauty with priceless gems of nature, such as Eldvörp, Selatangar, Gunnuhver, Brimketill, the fierce lava, the Reykjanes Light House, and much more.
